Meet Lorrie Pearson
Lorrie is the author of 10 Ways to Build A Successful Cosmetic Business, and creator of many seminars including: Makeup For The Non-Makeup Wearer, Introduction to Professional Makeup Artistry, Promotional Makeup Artistry Techniques and Teen Beauty Basics. Lorrie’s passion for beauty and style began at the age of 6. She landed her first beauty industry job at the age of 17 and continues to guide and style women and men from head to toe.
The cosmetics industry has been strength for Lorrie with the opportunity to represent many lines including Chanel, Dior, Lancôme, Smasbox, Lorac, Visage Beaute and many others in throughout her career. She taught makeup artistry for the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, John Robert Powers Modeling School and many other clients. Lorrie continues to train aspiring makeup artists and stylists via workshops across the country.
Beauty, fashion and style came together effortlessly as Lorrie began working with worked with many photographers and models in the 1980’s for various events in. Lorrie quickly began helping new models coordinate outfits and settings for photo shoots. During this time, she also began designing makeup looks for various occasions and events.
Lorrie’s desire to share makeup beauty and fashion to the world resulted in launching Make Me Up Magazine, as CEO, Editor& Publisher, she strives to inform and teach her audience to grow their business as a makeup artist or stylist.
